Penn Badgley began acting in film and television over 25 years ago, most recently in the subversive hit series You. He has been producing, directing, and writing since 2020, founding his production company Ninth Mode with Nava Kavelin and Chelsea Rowhani. A common theme explored in all of his work is the manner in which media shapes attitudes and reflects our beliefs about human nature, especially in young people. He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife and two children.
